Hodie Christus Natus Est

A few years ago my daughters and I spent a day at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D. C. As we went through the late medieval and early Renaissance galleries, my daughters recognized many of the Latin sayings that decorate/ identify the works. When they did, they sang the beautiful Renaissance polyphony that they had learned in their choir, making the experience a multi-sensory delight for me and the other visitors. That day is a treasured memory of mine.
Today is a day for making more memories – I hope yours are good ones!

Christmas blessings of peace and joy to all!

  1. It must be boisterous (in a good way) with everyone home for the holidays. Wishing you and your family a happy Christmas!
